Should Optometrists Be Allowed to Administer Injections to Eyelids?
February 15, 2011
In the latest regulatory battle over the scope of eyecare provided by optometrists, ophthalmologists in South Carolina say they will fight a bill (S503 pending in the state Senate) that would authorize optometrists to administer injections to patients’ eyelids.
