Lumigan eye drops are now available at 0.01%, 1/3 the strength of 0.03%, but giving the same IOP reduction with fewer side effects like hyperemia. That’s great, but why didn’t they think of that in the first place?

They reduced the drug but increased the preservative ( benzalkonium chloride) by 300% (from .05 to .2). I worry about the safety of it in the long run.
