I would like to konow if there is any self stem cell therapy available for retinopathy of prematurity? My six year old son has lost complete vision due to ROP (stage 5) in both eyes in his third month. I am living in India.

    My premature baby now 3 months, has ROP 5th stage, taken 20 days on oxygen due to complications at the time of birth. I have taken checkup of baby from – Arvindo Hospital-Indore, Rajas eye care-Indore, Raghudeep eye hospital- Ahmedabad, Sankar Nethralay – Chennai, Shroff Eye hospital – Delhi, AIIMS – Delhi. Doctors examined baby & told baby’s both eye retina has problem, eye membrane totally detached.

    I am waiting for any positive hope from anywhere, kindly suggest if any possibility of cure / transplant. I believe God will give me right direction, kindly help.
