Ophthalmic Artery Injection For Retinoblastoma Is Effective

Ophthalmology: Selective ophthalmic artery injection of chemo (melphalan) for retinoblastoma was successfully performed in 98% of cases, saving about 50% of eyes, and preserving vision in those without macular involvement. No serious local or systemic side effects were encountered.
