According to an official with the Comparison of AMD Treatments Trias (CATT) Study, it is on track and proceeding well. The 44 participating centers have recruited over 850 of the called-for 1200 enrollments and anticipate completing patient enrollment by the end of the year.
One-year results from the study are expected to be released in early 2011.
The study began enrolling patients in February 2008.
