Intraoperative Avastin Better Than Pre-op

Ophthalmology: Researchers studies the effect of Avastin on preventing vitreous hemorrhage after surgery for proliferative diabetic retinopathy. If administered at the time of the surgery, it was found to be more effective than giving it pre-op (10% vs. 22%). Vision at six months was the same for both, including control (no injection)
