Technolas Perfect Vision today announced US same store growth of 6.0% in 2010 for US LASIK procedures using its technology as compared to an overall 0.8% national decline in US LASIK procedures during 2010.
Technolas attributes its strong procedure growth to wider adoption of its Advanced Control Eyetracking (ACE™) Technology by LASIK surgeons. Deployed at “Certified Astigmatism Treatment Centers,” the ACE technology is well-suited for treating astigmatism, which afflicts 1/3 of the U.S. adult population.
