North Carolina Practice First in U.S. to Acquire Ziemer FEMTO LDV Surgical Laser

The Cheraw Chronicle announced that Carolina Eye Associates (operated by surgeons Neil Griffin, M.D. and Colleen Grace, M.D.) will be the first ophthalmology practice in the United States to acquire the Ziemer FEMTO LDV Femtosecond Laser, a state-of-the-art laser that aids in LASIK surgery and may lead to improved quality of vision while reducing recovery time.
Drs. Griffin and Grace will also investigate the potential of the new laser with respect to corneal transplant surgery.
