i advise calling the surgeon and getting the post op care instructions. i am sure the surgeon or his staff would be happy to give the instructions.
Hi. After surgery, a patch is usually placed over the operated eye and worn for several hours. Most patients are advised to return to their surgeon the following day to check their vision, eye pressure or condition, and prescribe postoperative eye drops to minimize pain and antibiotics to prevent infection. Although mild blurring vision and eye discomfort may be observed within the first two weeks of operation, the symptoms are expected to resolve after three to four weeks. Patients should be reminded that strenuous activity, heavy lifting and bending over are not allowed while the eyes recuperate. Follow-up visits may be scheduled every one to two weeks, depending on the patient’s progress. Hope this answers your question.
