This is an interesting article written by a young woman taking a journalism class at the college she works at. She carefully researched and wrote about how both Lucentis and Avastin came into existence at Genentech. It is written as a personal experience because her aunt has macular degeneration and she decided to look into the miracle drugs that had been created and that were being used to treat her aunt. I think you will find it as fascinating as I did.
