My doctor recommended treating my conjunctivochalasis with thermal cautery. I was wondering what are the side effects, risks, and dangers?

very safe. practically no side effects or danger. if that doesnt work, i suture the conjunctiva to the eye, and some doctors resect the redundant conjunctiva and sometimes use amniotic membrane graft to help in the healing.
