Using Acuvail After Treatment of AMD
November 23, 2009
My husband has been perscribed acuvail to use after treatment for macular degeneration. I see nothing in your literature that mentions this.

I would first make sure of the diagnosis. The only conceivable reason might be that if he has “wet” ARMD, then some might feel the Acuvail may get rid of some of the fluid.
Look forward to hearing from you.

maybe the diagnosis is cystoid macular edema, not amd. acuvail is helpful in cystoid.
