New Vitamin Regimen Could Extend Useful Vision for Up to 20 Years for Sufferers of Retinitis Pigmentosa and Certain Types of Usher Syndrome

The Foundation Fighting Blindness announced that it had updated its previous Vitamin A information, to include the results of a three-year, peer-reviewed study that showed that a regimen of Vitamin A plus oily fish and lutein could extend the useful vision of those with retinitis pigmentosa and Types 2&3 Usher Syndrome for up to 20 years.
