Archives: Dr. Shields et al describe a series of patients with high risk characteristics (invasion of lamina and posterior uvea) who were treated with Vincristine, Etoposide and Carboplatin after enucleation, and after about five years, they found zero metastases. Bravo. Not so long ago, retinoblastoma was a death sentence, and still is in many parts of the world.
