Pupil Size, Tilt/Decentration of Aspheric IOL’s Cause More Higher-Order Aberrations

Ophthalmology: Aspheric IOL’s produce better quality vision, but a study demonstrated a pitfall- in cases where the IOL tilts or decenters, it creates higher order aberrations (HOA’s). The authors suggest that in cases where one is not confident of IOL position, it may be better to implant a regular implant.
