Does Descemet Stripping Endothelial Keratoplasty (DSEK) Improve Vision Quality in Patients With Fuch’s Dystrophy?

A study published in the August 2011 issue of the Archives of Ophthalmology evaluated the improvement in the quality of vision of patients with Fuch’s dystrophy after Descemet stripping endothelial keratoplasty (DSEK).

The study found that quality of vision in patients with Fuchs dystrophy improves significantly after DSEK with straylight measure improving more in younger than in older patients.
