Periocular Topotecan Effective In Retinoblastoma

Archives: Topotecan is an alkyloid which, when mixed with Tisseel glue, was injected into the sub-Tenon’s space in patients with retinoblastoma. This caused tumor shrinkage of small retinoblastoma tumors and allowed for focal treatment and thus salvage of the eyeball.
