Interferon Controls Behcet’s Disease

Archives: Behcet’s disease is an uncommon inflammatory disease which can cause loss of vision. Researchers found that giving interferon in a dose-escalating fashion was successful in controlling the disease in 95%. Avoiding steroids, with their serious side-effects, is always welcome news.
