FDA Approves Generic Version of Xalatan® Eye Drops for Glaucoma

Mylan Inc. today announced that the FDA has approved its Latanoprost Ophthalmic Solution, 0.005%, a generic version of Xalatan® eye drops for treatment of glaucoma.

The product represents Mylan’s first ophthalmic solution.
