Is Femtosecond Laser in Keratoplasty Worth It?

Ophthalmology: researchers compared conventional keratoplasty, with one using the femtosecond laser, which can create intricate and utterly precise cuts in the cornea tissue, which is felt would reduce astigmatism. However, turns out that after six months, there was no difference between the groups. I don’t think this will deter corneal surgeons, as the laser keratoplasty is just so elegant.
