Using Riboflavin and Ultraviolet Light to Treat Acanthamoeba

Ophthalmology: Acanthamoeba infection of the cornea can sometimes be impossible to treat medically. in a report of three cases, Acanthamoeba was successfully treated using riboflavin and ultraviolet light where medical treatment failed. Surgery was still needed later to remove the scars. This gives hope in this difficult disease.
