Spontaneous Reattachment of Descemet’s Membrane Found After DSAEK

AJO: In DSAEK, the transplanted Descemet’s membrane can sometimes be found to be detached after surgery. Many surgeons will take the patient back to the O.R. and re-attach. They may want to hold off on that- in a recent study, 9 of 12 were found to reattach by 25 days post-op.
