Who Is Using Dr. Mackool’s Aphakic Refraction Technique to Calculate IOL Power in Post-LASIK Patients?

Dr. Mackool has been refracting patients when aphakic using an algorithm he developed before implanting the IOL for patients with staphyloma or post-LASIK, where it may be hard to know which IOL to implant. You gotta hand it to Dr. Mackool- he is really pushing the envelope. He is open to comparing his technique head-to head with ORange. Of course, his method is a lot cheaper!
