Is Retinal Vein Occlusion More Common in Patients With Sleep Apnea?

Archives: Higher prevalence of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) among patients with retinal vein occlusion(RVO). This is not surprising, as we see several vascular diseases more common in this condition, like stroke and heart attacks. It may also play a role in ischemic optic neuropathy/glaucoma, when at night, the optic nerve is especially susceptible.
