What Are Treatment Options for Dry Eye and Fuch’s Dystrophy Following Cataract Surgery?

After my left eye cataract surgery, vision in that eye became very blurred and I could not read the eye charts or see very far away except very blurred images. The doctor said he would watch that (this has been two days ago). I remember him saying something about dystrophy. What is this condition and how is it corrected? My eyes are very dry requring lubrication every hour.

dry eye and fuchs are two separate diseases. dry eye is treated with artificial tears, restasis, and punctal plugs. flaxseed oil and omega 3 supplements can help.
fuch’s is a swelling of the cornea. a special kind of corneal transplant (dsaek) can improve vision if you are really having a hard time. for sure, wait at least 4 months post- cataract surgery before considering it.
