Is SLT (Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty) After ALT (Argon Laser Trabeculoplasty) Effective for Treatment of Pigmentary Glaucoma?

Are there any studies that show the effectiveness of slt (selective laser trabeculoplasty) performed after an alt (argon laser trabeculoplasty) to treat pigmentary glaucoma? If it is, do you know a physician who has had success?

hmm. not sure if there is an article for that particular scenario. but since slt is so gentle on the eye, i cant imagine not trying it after alt. i will say, however, that alt is particularly effective in pigmentary and pseudoexfoliation glaucoma, as opposed to regular glaucoma, so i would not hesitate to use either one. alt is probably slightly more effective in general than slt, but probably not by much.
