Does Prescribing Pred Forte or Acular One Month Before Trabeculectomy Increase Success Rate?

In July’s Ophthalmology, researchers noted a dramatic decrease in failure rate (6% vs. 42%) for patients who took Pred Forte (Prednisolone Ophthalmic) or Acular (Ketorolac ophthalmic) QID for one month prior to trab compared to controls.  I think I, for one, will surely do something so simple to reduce the risk of failure.
