Viroptic vs. Zirgan: New Ganciclovir Ointment for HSV Keratitis

This is welcome news for those who hate to see Viroptic’s effect on the cornea, and wondering if the patient is taking the drop nine times a day. Zirgan is equally effective, easier on the eye, and only five times a day. Kudos to Sirion Therapeutics. I know I will probably never go back to Viroptic…unless ObamaCare says it’s too expensive.
